He was in his mid 20's and doing it with a condom on. Passed out when the heavy weight noose had restricted blood flow to his brain good enough and got strangled to death on live camera.
I personally suspect that it might have been a suicide and the entire idea was to make ending his life as pleasurable as possible and also so people will definitely remember his death. Can not ask him now. But it looked so dangerous to strangle yourself with such set up, that I think he actually wanted to die and that his death definitely will be noticed.
