A tragic accident occurred on the main road of the municipality of Pailitas when a tractor-trailer ran over an elderly man known as 'Nomañoma', who was seriously injured. The incident occurred in the midst of heavy rain, making visibility on the road difficult.
Witnesses reported that the elderly man was trying to cross the road when he was hit by the heavy vehicle, leaving his legs trapped under the tires. The man was immediately taken to a nearby medical center, where reports indicate that his condition is critical.
