A serious traffic accident claimed the lives of a man and a woman on the Eastern Highway , near Juan Dolio, San Pedro de Macorís , this morning.
According to preliminary reports, the victims were travelling on a motorcycle when they were hit by an SUV , the details of which have not yet been confirmed. Minutes later, the young woman suffered a second impact when a truck hit her at the scene of the accident, which further aggravated the tragedy.
