The accident claimed the life of Jorge Darío Cañete, who was traveling aboard a motorcycle in the company of a 45-year-old woman, named Mirian Noemí Cañete, and a 4-year-old child.
The people were traveling on Caballero Álvarez Street and when they were about to cross the green light, a large truck came into their path on the PY02 Mariscal Estigarribia route.
The man ended up embedded between the rear wheels of the tractor-trailer, while his companions fell to the pavement and suffered injuries.
