In an event that has shocked the community, the Head of Internal Control of the Mayor’s Office of Anserma, John Fredy Arce, 45, was murdered this morning while leaving his residence in the urban area of the municipality.
Arce, also recognized as the owner of a local powder store, was shot twice in the head in what appears to be an attempted robbery. According to preliminary reports, armed men aboard a truck approached the victim, apparently with the intention of assaulting him. Tragically, Arce lost his life while resisting the assault.
