A situation of extreme concern has recently been experienced in the community of El Café de Herrera, in Santo Domingo, where a young man was killed by individuals on a motorcycle. He was also injured by machete-type knives, in what is presumed to be a conflict related to the control of a point of sale of illicit substances.
Several residents of the area gathered at the scene of the incident, trying to assist the injured young man. The community members stated that he still showed signs of life, despite the severity of the attack received.
