A daily wager recently lost his life after sitting on an exploding box of firecrackers as part of a bet on Diwali day in southern Bengaluru. He passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital on Sunday.
The victim, identified as Shabari M, 32, was a resident of Konanakunte in Bengaluru. The incident took place when Shabari along with six of his friends was burning firecrackers on the night of October 31. All seven friends were allegedly drunk.
