On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 13, an accident involving a motorcycle and a truck resulted in the death of Vagner Santos, 20, in Santa Maria do Pará. Images from security cameras at a local company show the moment when Vagner, who had just left work, was riding his motorcycle along a gravel road towards BR-010.
As he approached a mechanic's shop on the highway, Vagner tried to brake when he noticed a truck maneuvering to enter the establishment. Despite his attempts, he was unable to stop in time and collided with the vehicle. During the impact, the truck ran over the motorcycle.
