Las Americas Highway : Mentally Ill Woman Threw Herself Onto A Vehicle And Died

Santo Domingo, DR.- This Wednesday morning, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the Las Américas Highway , at kilometer 11 and a half, which left one fatality. According to initial reports, a woman, who apparently suffered from mental problems, threw herself onto the road and was hit by a vehicle. This initial crash caused a series of collisions involving two buses from the Caribe Tours company and a truck.

The accident occurred early in the morning, causing chaos in traffic on that stretch of the highway. Although the woman was fatally injured in the incident, fortunately no other injuries were reported at the scene. Local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation and carry out the investigation.
