"The car came through my shop, man," said Darrick Brown, the owner of 32 Degrees. He described the scene as a typical busy Saturday before the incident, with people joking and enjoying themselves.
A painter working outside the barbershop had warned those inside about the approaching SUV, which had already collided with another car.
The vehicle then plowed through a nearby church, damaging walls and other businesses before crashing into the barbershop.
"What the—," exclaimed Brown as the SUV barreled through, sending customers scrambling for safety. Unfortunately, some were not quick enough, and the 11-year-old boy was thrown out of sight.
