A 68-year-old man was found dead on a public road in the center of Barreiros, in the early hours of this Thursday, the 5th. João Manoel dos Santos had injuries to the head, caused by blows with a piece of wood, which was left next to the body.
Preliminary information indicates that João was at home drinking alcohol when an unknown man arrived and started drinking with him. After a disagreement, the victim ran out of the house and was attacked by the suspect on the street, where he died.
