Off Duty Military Police Officer Shot A Young Man To Death In Public

Brazil – Military police officer Marlon da Silva Oliveira is the target of an investigation by the Civil Police into the execution of Gabriel Santos Costa, 17, and the shooting of another young man, 19, on Sunday (12/1) in the Rio Vermelho neighborhood, Salvador, Bahia. His preventive arrest was requested by the Civil Police on Monday (2).

Gabriel Santos Costa died after being hit by gunshots, and the other young man, also shot, was taken to the State General Hospital (HGE), where he remains hospitalized.
