An electrician identified as Pedro Eliseu Vanderlei de Santana, 42, died on Saturday afternoon (11) after suffering an electric shock while carrying out maintenance on a high voltage network in Sítio Jardim, rural area of Garanhuns, in the Agreste region of Pernambuco.
Pedro Eliseu was an employee of the company Vencer, a service provider for Neoenergia. While performing the work, the electrician received an electric shock and became trapped on a pole. The Fire Department was called and removed the body.
