On the morning of Tuesday, January 21, 2025, a man known as Raimundão Bebinho, at the Nova Descoberta mine, located 60 km from the district of Crepurizinho, in the region of the municipality of Itaituba, in the southwest of Pará, was found dead in a muddy area.
The Military Police garrison went to the scene and confirmed the veracity of the facts. Preliminary analysis indicates that the victim was killed with a deep blow to the back of the neck. The area was very bloody.
