At around 12:00 on April 28, 2025, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Longtun Road and Heping Road in Liuzhou City. Fan (male, 37 years old) was driving an off-road vehicle with a temporary license plate from north to south and collided with two pedestrians, Li and Wei, who were crossing the crosswalk. Li was slightly injured and not in danger of life, and Wei was not injured.
Fan has been ruled out of suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Preliminary investigation shows that the cause of the accident was that the driver violated the traffic light. The vehicle involved in the accident has been detained according to law and is under further investigation.
