A man was shot and stabbed to death on Monday night (6), in the Vergel do Lago neighborhood, in Maceió . The victim, whose identity was not disclosed, was found lying in the street, with marks of gunshot wounds and a deep cut on the chest.
According to information from the Military Police, the man went to his brother's residence to ask for help, but was found lying there.
The victim was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and was taken to the State General Hospital (HGE), but he succumbed to his injuries and died.
The victim's brother informed the police that he does not know what motivated the crime and who the perpetrators were. The case was forwarded to the Maceió Homicide and Personal Protection Police Station, where the motivation and authorship will be investigated. So far, no one has been arrested.
